On June 14, 2023, we opened a 68,000 rentable square foot store in North Bergen, New Jersey. The project is located on JFK Boulevard, the central commercial corridor through North Bergen, and only 1.5 miles from the Lincoln Tunnel to/from Manhattan. This site checked all the boxes for us: high population density, high percentage of apartment renters, high traffic counts and high self-storage rents. CubeSmart will be managing the store, our 8th joint venture project with Mequity Companies.
